About Keefe Furniture Restorations

Keefe Restorations was established in 1982 by Gerald Keefe, who achieved his qualifications in the Furniture Restoration trade in central London. The skills and knowledge he gained were passed onto his son's in 1988 when they took over the business. Since then the business has expanded by introducing modern techniques in lacquers and paint finishes but still retaining the original techniques.

In 2009 the business re-located to larger premises in Rickmansworth where we now have specialised equipment for all types of finishes. Being a member of the Guild of Master Craftsman, we always ensure that we strive for perfection in everything we do.

Our services include French Polishing, Lacquering, Polyurethane and Paint Colour Matching. We undertake repairs to modern, antique and reproduction pieces and work can be undertaken on or off site, depending on the extent of repairs required.

Our client base varies from private one off pieces to whole international shipments that have been damaged in transit. We also offer a service for Insurance Claims.
